This policy explains what data we handle when you use FwdLink, why we handle it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we process
We process three kinds of data, and only to deliver the service to you:
- Business contact details: your name, work email and company.
- Website analytics data from your Google Analytics 4 property, if you choose to connect it.
- CRM data from your CRM, if you choose to connect it.
Connecting GA4 or a CRM is your choice. For GA4 and CRM data, we only process what you have chosen to connect.
Queries to AI engines
To track how AI engines answer questions about your category, we run public queries against ChatGPT and Gemini. The queries are about your category and its vendors, not about individuals.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't use it for anything other than delivering FwdLink to you.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of sub-processors:
- Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as Merchant of Record and handles payment, invoicing and tax. Your card statement shows Paddle.
- Google, for the GA4 connection, if you connect it.
- Your CRM provider, if you connect a CRM.
- Our hosting provider.
This website
fwdlink.io uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits to this site and see which pages are read. Google processes that data for us. It is separate from any GA4 property you connect as a customer.
Deleting your data
When you cancel, ask us to delete your data and we delete it within 30 days. Send the request to hello@fwdlink.io.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you (access);
- correct data that is wrong or out of date (correction);
- delete your data (deletion).
