Accounting and tax
Buyers choosing a tax advisor may ask an AI.
See whether AI search answers name you, which pages they cite and which competitors appear, for the questions buyers in this industry ask.
Questions buyers may ask
- 01What's a good tax advisor for a small online shop that carries inventory?
- 02Recommend a tax advisor for an online shop for under $1,500 a year.
- 03What does your company do?
- Your own questions first; drafts stay labelled until you confirm them
- Category questions kept apart from questions that name you
- Asked to the OpenAI, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity search APIs, twice each
- For each answer: mentioned or not, cited URLs, competitors and collection status
Buyer questions
Ten questions buyers in this industry may ask.
Six are category questions and four name your company. In a check, your own questions come first; anything drafted from a template stays labelled as a draft until you confirm it.

What we record
Named, cited, or left out.
- Who is named. An answer can list several companies. We record each competitor you listed, and whether you are among them.
- A mention does not always come with a citation. Some answers name a company and stop. Some also cite its site. We count mentions and citations separately.
- Whether the answer came back at all. A failed answer is shown as failed, never as “not mentioned”.
Pages answers may send buyers to
A page that does not state a fact the buyer asked for.
- The services page
- The who we work with page
- The fees page
- The enquiry form
A missing mention alone never establishes the cause. The improvement workflow in the Improvement plan sets the answer beside your confirmed facts and the live page.
Available now AI visibility check: up to 10 questions × 4 engines × 2 repeats = up to 80 planned answers by default. You start it yourself once your questions are confirmed; collection usually takes a few minutes.

We have only run a study of our own in HR software. There is no count of this industry yet, and we will not present one as if there were. See what we did count →
We are a small practice. Is this too much?
A first check is small: up to 10 questions, asked twice on each of four engines. You read the answers and decide what, if anything, to change.
Can the questions name a state?
Yes. Location belongs in the questions when your clients are local.
What if an AI says something wrong about us?
Questions that name your firm are where that shows up. The answer is set beside the facts you confirm and flagged for your review, not declared wrong automatically.
