Mention or link
A name mention and a homepage link are recorded as two different things.
An answer can name you and say nothing else. An answer can also name you and link your site. Those are not the same result, so they are not the same number.
We record a mention when your company is named, and a link when the answer points at your domain.
Neither one is a visit. A link in an answer means the answer cited your page, not that somebody clicked it.
