Parts and industrial supply
Buyers choosing a parts supplier may ask an AI.
See whether AI search answers name you, which pages they cite and which competitors appear, for the questions buyers in this industry ask.
Questions buyers may ask
- 01Who sells stainless steel conveyor rollers in small quantities?
- 02Recommend a supplier that sells conveyor rollers for under $40 a piece with no minimum order.
- 03What does your company do?
- Your own questions first; drafts stay labelled until you confirm them
- Category questions kept apart from questions that name you
- Asked to the OpenAI, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity search APIs, twice each
- For each answer: mentioned or not, cited URLs, competitors and collection status
Buyer questions
Ten questions buyers in this industry may ask.
Six are category questions and four name your company. In a check, your own questions come first; anything drafted from a template stays labelled as a draft until you confirm it.
- 01Who sells stainless steel conveyor rollers in small quantities?
- 02Recommend a supplier that sells conveyor rollers for under $40 a piece with no minimum order.
- 03Every supplier we call has a 500 piece minimum and we need 50. What do repair shops do about this?
- 04What are some alternatives to Competitor A for conveyor parts?
- 05Is it worth ordering 50 rollers from a supplier, or should we have them made locally?
- 06What should I look for in a conveyor parts supplier?
- 07What does your company do?
- 08What is your company's minimum order, and how are small orders priced?
- 09Can your company ship an order of 50 rollers within a week?
- 10How is your company different from Competitor A?
What we record
Named, cited, or left out.
- Who is named. An answer can list several companies. We record each competitor you listed, and whether you are among them.
- A mention does not always come with a citation. Some answers name a company and stop. Some also cite its site. We count mentions and citations separately.
- Whether the answer came back at all. A failed answer is shown as failed, never as “not mentioned”.
Pages answers may send buyers to
A page that does not state a fact the buyer asked for.
- The product spec page
- The ordering page
- The lead time page
- The quote request form
A missing mention alone never establishes the cause. The improvement workflow in the Improvement plan sets the answer beside your confirmed facts and the live page.
Available now AI visibility check: up to 10 questions × 4 engines × 2 repeats = up to 80 planned answers by default. You start it yourself once your questions are confirmed; collection usually takes a few minutes.

Our catalogue is huge. Which questions should we track?
Start with the questions buyers ask before they contact you, such as minimum order and lead time. A first check covers up to 10 questions.
Buyers here use distributors. Does this still apply?
If a buyer asks an AI who supplies a part, the answer can name companies and cite pages. The check records which ones.
Can questions use part numbers?
They can. If your buyers ask in plain words instead, those questions belong in the set too.
