Done-for-you work · AI answer observations
Mention or link
A name mention and a link to your site are recorded as two different things.
Human service · quoted Part of FwdLink’s done-for-you improvement work, done by a person and quoted separately. It uses the same observation method as the AI visibility check, with its own scope: OpenAI and Google Gemini, three repeats. The AI visibility check itself now asks four engines twice each.
An answer can name you and say nothing else, or name you and link your site. Those are not the same result, so they are not the same number.
Neither one is a visit. A link in an answer means the answer cited your page, not that somebody clicked it.
What you get
- A mention count
- A link count
- Both against the same answers
- Plain wording about what a link does not prove
